Texas Homecare is a former chain of DIY stores in the UK . Founded in 1972, it was acquired by J Sainsbury plc in 1995 from Ladbrokes to treble the size of its Sainsbury’s Homebase subsidiary.
Texas Homecare was founded by Manny Fogel, who had previously founded the high street specialist paint and wallpaper chain Home Charm . Taking his lead from America, he revolutionised the UK DIY market, with the introduction of the DIY shed. (more…)
90′ uk commercial for the Rover 200 Series.
The Rover 200-series / 25 is a small car which was produced by the Austin Rover Group, and latterly the Rover Group and MG Rover.
There have been three distinct generations of the car, the first of which was a badge engineered Honda model, and known as the 200 series. However, both the Mark II 200 and its sister model, the Honda Concerto were built on the same production line in Rover’s Longbridge factory. The final generation was developed independently by Rover on the platform of its predecessor, and was initially sold under the Rover 200 name. (more…)

Nescafé is one of the world’s top-selling brands of instant coffee, made by Nestlé. It comes in the form of many different products. The name is a portmanteau of the words “Nestlé” and “café“. Nestlé’s flagship powdered coffee product was introduced in Switzerland on April 1, 1938 after being developed for seven years by Max Morgenthaler and team.
It was called Nescafé in its U.S. TV ads throughout the ’50s and ’60s, as well as in store packaging. Later, Nestle introduced a new brand in the United States called
